actually by the time L died L should’ve been like.. 25 or maybe older because if Light was 17 when he became kira and like about 4 or 5 years after is when this episode is.. and well.. L seemed 21 or something when light was 17. it’s only a guess but L should have been somewhere above 25

Compare the age of Light’s sister from the beginning of the story to when she was kidnapped; I don’t know what year the story began in (i think it’s modern - 2005-2007), but it advanced to 2012, meaning L would probably be 27-30 if he were still alive.
That said, I don’t believe N is L’s son. But it is possible.

(his B-day was Halloween of, 1980-something, died on Nov 5th of, 25 years later) Near is an orphan, he was in the Wammy’s house for overly-smart orphans, therefore, they are not related. Light was, like, 5 or 6 years younger than L when L died. Light is currently 23-25 years old.(I’m not exactly sure on Light’s age, it’s been awhile sience I read the manga)

L and Near are not related, they are alike because they were both brought up at the orphanage Watari founded, and Near is to be seen as L’s successor - and so acts and looks like him in some ways

The thing is guys, L and Light were the exact same age when L was introduced into the story (yeah, you DID see him taking college entrance exams =D).
